Rain Frog, Eleutherodactylus sp.

Rio Palenque
Rain frogs get their name because they often appear in great numbers after a heavy rain in order to breed. Many species of rain frog breed by laying their eggs in moist places on the ground. The young pass through their tadpole stage while still in the egg and emerge as a tiny froglet.
